Be fishers of men.
Have you ever thought of that phrase from Mathew 4:19 or Mark 1:17?
| fisher | |
| noun | |
| 1. | someone whose occupation is catching fish |
I was thinking, Jesus used the analogy of fishermen when it came to the people doing His works and He used the analogy of farmers when it came to preaching His word.
He used simple occupations to illustrate His point. In today’s context it’ll probably sound like this, “Be doctors and raise up the dead!” or “Be a marketing executive to spread the goodness of my word” or how about, “Be a rocket scientist to preach my word to the ends of the Earth!” Wooohooohooo! That’ll be cool.
Anywoots, have you ever gone fishing before?
As in fishing for fish. With extremist, hardcore fishing fanatics.
These are the symptoms of fishing addicts.
1. Upon hearing the words “water” “sea” “boat” and ”FISH!” they sit up straight and prepare their stuff.
2. When they see a fish in advertisement or movie or anywhere where fish don’t belong, they go, “OOH!! FISH!! FISH!!”.
3. They are constantly planning of their next fishing trip.
4. They get very very very extremely emotionally disappointed if they catch small fish.
5. They get very very very very extremely extremely emotionally emotionally disappointed if they don’t catch fish.
6. Sometimes they can be very EXTREMELY patient.
7. They are usually male.

Speciment no. 2: “Bobby”

That should be enough to identify a true blue fish-fanatic.
These men braved the mosquito infested swamp to fish.
(Oh my! Mosquitoes are usually very picky when it comes to sucking blood but they sucked mine! YESSSSS I’m normal!)
Anyway, we saw a pink dolphin while fishing.
This guy operating the boat was like, “Look! Dolphins! I’ve been here for a very long time and this is one of the few rare moments that I get to see dolphins here”.
Joe Wee mumbled when he couldn’t see the dolphin, “I think he’s hallucinating lah. Must be sea-sick already”
Then when the dolphin appeared again, everybody’s eyes were glued on the empty vast of blue water.
My camera ready to shot. HAHA!

But it didn’t appear again.
It was cool.
Just a tiny catch

But we got to see dolphins.
=)
